For those that don’t know, for the past week straight I challenged myself to keep my phone off at least an hour a day. So, was it a successful challenge and were there any meaningful results that came from it? Yes and yes.
While I can’t say that my energy level has increased, my daily mood sure did! I just felt better. I think it’s because I would take my break from my phone in the afternoon. So once my work day was over, I would use that time to either relax or catch up on work. I knew I was doing something more useful with my time, whether it was getting more done every day or taking care of myself. I think I will be adding this into my schedule moving forward.
